I have used the EVgo app before, but it was cumbersome to pull out your phone, open the app, then swipe the phone.

Glad to hear it now supports plug & charge as I have way more EVgo than EA.

Just wish EVgo had faster / powerful chargers.

Most of the ones I have seen are 50kW.

Heard about this on Saturday. Installed EVgo app on my phone and registered, but wasn't able to get it to recognize my Lightning as eligible for Autocharge+. Will try again today, as we have several EVgo chargers in this area.

As an aside.. remember EvGO is partnering with GM to install chargers at 500 Pilot/flying J truck stops. I hope these also feature plug-n-charge capability.

I put in a trouble ticket for that and they are working on an app update as we speak.

Same here. App works fine otherwise, but would be stoked to get this working.

I got the same error - will not register for autocharge.

Phone rep said tomorrow should have the VIN entry working....

Had the same thing happen to me today as well. On top of that, got a charging fault at the location I stopped at. Called EVGo to fix...

Plug and charge works great for me at EA on my Lightning. It's activated and managed via the FordPass app. And includes the same 30% discount as Pass+ as far as I can tell, but for free instead of $4 per month.

Well no I mean that the payment happens automatically via the "blueoval network" which just seems to be a connection between ford and EA. You configure payment option in the FordPass app.
