Hello - just wondering if anyone is aware if there is additional theft protection in the F150L over the old F150's.
In my neighbourhood a lot of cars are being stolen, and almost all of them involve key reprogramming. The most popular amongst these are the F150's, Lexus, Land Rover's and a couple of others. I *think* the F150's being stolen are models as recent as 2020 - not 100% sure. I can't fit my truck in the garage, so it's fairly vulnerable.
Now I have video cameras, etc. I also have additional security on the truck. That said I'm just curious to know have they fixed the issue that makes reprogramming a new key so dead simple that some scumbag can do it in 5 minutes in your driveway?
