Been living with that failing sensor since T-Day. Some of the weird consequences:
1) No interior lights on door opening
2) Perimeter alarm sound was akin to a strangled duck.
3) No bass on sound.. really became A.M. sound out of sound system.
4) Volume function became unpredictable with rotary dial
5) Consistent error messages at say 5 hours after driving say 100 miles.
6 Unauthorized electrical device error message.
7) Accidental unplug message.
I was able to thwart error messages by leaving truck “on” by turning “off” the 30 minute delay on ignition going off. During the week I was doing that, the truck was “on” for 10 hours during the day, successfully downloaded “Good stuff here
Ford Power up 4.2.1.1 at 1 A.M. as scheduled.
Go figure.
This is the only update the trucks ever received. April ‘23 Build.
