Like some older posts, I finally had a crash of my navigation on my 12 inch screen. Was driving long distance there are times there the maps loads for a few seconds but today it fully crashed. In reading about some other posts it never mentions if people got it fixed.

Turned it off and back in and never returned. I have unplugged my phone and will let it rest overnight.

Do people think a 12 volt reset or pulling the wifi fuse?

Try the reboot procedure for the 12" screen found in the owners manual.

My Nav unit hasn’t crashed on my 12” screen. However… it froze for about 30 seconds yesterday, and froze again today, for about 10 minutes before suddenly waking up.
Fingers crossed it’s just an anomaly. The built in nav unit in this truck is impressive.

I have the 12 inch screen and my navigation map freezes up every day. I don't really use it for navigation, but it is just up on the screen following me around, then I'll notice it just locks up. I send in those trouble reports, not sure if those do anything really.

Continue with the reports, reports are heard, corrective results might take time for a new update to be issued.

BTW, everyone who experience issues like this should send in a report.

See this thread about a bad GPS coax cable splitter board that may be problematic:
satellite-radio-fixed-6-20-23-bad-coax-splitter
Also there was mention of a cable bend behind driver's side kick panel that may have been bent too tightly.
After the gps coax splitter fix for me, the map and vehicle arrow in the Ford Navigation screen are a bit too shaky (see video posted). When do these problems end? @Ford Motor Company
I hope to have a visit to the dealer in a couple of months...waiting for running board replacement due to warping plastic top layer.

Pulling the 12v, if done during an update because you didn't know it was updating, can brick a module...

I second this. There are way too many posts on the forum to disconnect the 12V to reset. It should be done only as a last resort if standard reset procedures don't work and you are 100% sure there are no updates in progress (ie. its been hung for a number of hours). Bricking a module can cost you weeks of downtime with your truck at the dealer waiting for parts.

I've had to do a Sync reset about 10 times in the past year to clear some lockups and it has always worked without pulling the 12V. Volume down button and Skip Right button on the wheel for about 10 seconds, even while driving does the job if there are no physical issues like a bad cable.
