Ford cheaper than Amazon

Went looking for a tailgate lock like I put on my old truck and found the exact same name brand and model is cheaper on the Ford accessory site than Amazon which was almost twice the amount, go figure.

How is that algorithm fed? Prior orders, searches? I need to know so I can screw with it by looking up and ordering the cheapest junk I can find then hit them with the motherload and get a better price and return the junk lol.

Which lock? If it's the fancy clamp that goes in the passenger side, those apparently won't work if you have a power tailgate. Not sure the flash is powered or not

Non powered. I did put the internal dampener in but that won't matter.
