I have to say, the latest update that added the Tesla chargers as well as allowing you to set your preferred charging stations has made a huge difference for me. I honestly can’t see a reason to use any other navigation app. Does anyone else feel the same about the update?

I've seen a few recent posts and accolades for the Ford navigation, so maybe it has improved. I guess if I did a lot of traveling I'd pay up again for connectivity and use it for backup or primary if it could prove its worth. My experience with it the first 3 years with the truck was pathetic. Trying to get it to find locations or chargers, especially by voice is just bad. Hard for me to find a need to go back vs Apple, or Google, etc. Preconditioning is the only benefit you might get, but regardless of temperature (from 20 to 100 outside) any time I've used a high speed charger I get almost identical charging speeds, nothing more, nothing less. There is nothing I need from Ford.

The only good thing about ford navigation is that it uses multitouch to pinch zoom.
I’m being kind. Beyond that it’s junk.

Chacun a son gout. However, with a little exploring to learn its capabilities, Ford NAV is pretty decent.

It seems to me that many folks these days, especially those of us with a smartphone always in hand, haven't played with Ford NAV for long enough to learn its strengths.

It's a free world... and the NAV is definitely not a Google or Apple screen... yet it has good features and I have preferred to use it on the Lightning and on my previous Ford.
