I hope so, I stopped using ford maps because apple has the Tesla chargers.
Unfortunately, Apple sucks when towing a trailer. Fortunately, ABRP is a reasonable alternative. We've used it exclusively for our last two towing trips.

ABRP is very helpful when i tow my travel trailer. The planning aspect of it really takes a lot of the stress and unknowns out of towing.

Do you use a dongle for the ABRP app as I dont and the app has not been accurate on a few trips. Like the layout and look but seems to miss chargers even though they are checked off on the list.

I do! I got one on amazon for like $30. It really dials in your range while driving. Make sure to use it as much as you can. With the dongle, it learns your trucks efficiency at different speeds which helps with accurate planning.

Just throwing my need out there for the nav. I need to filter out Tesla Superchargers. I will never go to them.

The dev story is: Consumer wants a menu with a list of charging networks with check boxes. The checkbox behavior will filter based on network name. The filter will affect the nav's charging stop algorithm so the consumer's preferences are respected. The filter should be saved so customer does not need to reapply the filter on truck start up.

Sounds like you want ABRP.

The biggest concern with ford nav is the voice command never works. I mean never. When I’m driving I want to use voice to make changes. It seems so dumb compared to Siri or google.

I believe you can change that in the NAV settings. You can select which charger brands are your preference. I believe you can also choose which ones to avoid.

I use ABRP for an initial plan. The ABRP interface doesn't agree with me. I find ABRP infuriating to use when manually fine tuning the route. I only use ABRP to get a road trip estimated time.

I'm quick enough and use to PlugShare to identify chargers.

Thank you. Shows it's been a while since I used it.

I'll try again and see what functionality isn't there to make me stick with using the nav's charging system.
