FordPass Activations for MY2023 Unavailable Until February

I recently encountered an issue with my FordPass not updating correctly. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I attempted to remove and reactivate my vehicle. However, it appears that MY2023 vehicles cannot be activated until Ford releases an update in February. As a result, I am now exploring alternative solutions, such as asking the dealer to re-provision the modem.

I am also curious to know if the re-provision process can be done using FORSCAN.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues or have any suggestions?

Others have. A workaround that seems to help the majority of people with this issue is pulling the negative lead on the low voltage battery waiting 20-30 seconds, and then reconnecting. It kicks the modem out of its locked up state...YMMV.

I may have renamed my truck based on my frustration trying to activate it.

You were right. One 10mm wrench later, and everything is back to normal.
