Team,

Yesterday I slightly bumped a rear end of another vehicle. Luckily nothing major happened to my f150 lightning lariat but a few hours later I noticed I got an alert of the Adaptive cruise control sensor blocked alerts. After looking in here, I found the sensor (right side of bumper next license plate bracket) and notice it popped out of place. Parts of the clips holding it into the bracket came off but after fixing it back to it's place the alert cleared. I got an alert again this morning and refined the bracket in position also wiping the surface of the sensor and bumper.

It seems the bottom piece of the sensor has a linear crack. It is working again for now. Should I have it replaced? See attached pictures. Thanks

If the sensor took a big enough hit to cause that crack, there's a good chance something inside it got out of alignment. AFAIK they aren't serviceable so I would buy a new sensor for piece of mind.

My opinion: it’s probably worth your piece of mind to have it check by a professional and if recommended I’ld replace it. Now that’s me. It’s going to be expensive and you have decide what worth to you.
