We had a powdery "dry" snow first then ice.

I have big chunks of ice-snow like that on the sides of my driveway too, when the sun came out it helped me get down to the concrete..

I didn't get out my drop bar/pry bar, I was afraid I might get carried away and crack the driveway or sidewalk, plus it was in my backyard shed across the frozen tundra and the shed barn doors wouldn't open without clearing the snow-ice in front of them first anyway...a catch 22.

Today's an important milestone, getting my level 2 Emporia Pro EVSE installed! I've been coping with DCFC since I picked up Storm.

My recent EVSE install passed muster today, the county Electrical Inspector was here this morning. Took him about 10 minutes to check out the work, and another ten to do a meet & greet with my noisy/protective alarm dog.

That will wind up just ‘costing’ my deductible (and potential rate increase). I have an a scheduled drop off in May , and a rental full sized ICE pickup of some sort lined up. I may downgrade to a minivan or SUV instead. I could have gotten a Tesla, but that would’ve involved driving over an hour to the nearest Hertz location. Enterprise is 3 miles away. I think I remember how to pump gas… thanks.

That damage should covered by your comprehensive coverage, which in Virginia generally does not result in a rate increase.
