My 2018 Silverado was the same as the Lightning. I had to cut out the front pocket to install my Adarac rake. I used a utility knife.

Does anybody know what this is?
Looking to open up my front stake pockets and was curious what this might be.

Also, does anyone have a part number for this router bit:

There was a link posted, but it just goes to Ford's accessory landing page, not the specific item.

Thanks,
Rod

I cut my front stakes pocket holes last Fall, and installed the Ford OEM new-style angled bull rings all around.

Using them right now as a matter of fact to tie down a spare wheel.

As extra tie down points, it works well.

Looks like you have a drawer system of som kind in the bed. Is that correct? Which kind?

I used a Dremel tool to cut it away. Then used the attachment point front and rear to mount some SS superstrut. I can mount just about anything on the superstrut.

I was thinking about this, maybe painting the strut black to match the truck - except it will get chipped too easily.
My other thought was to go with the low profile aluminum strut, for a lower profile, but then it will not be very stiff without mid-bolting it.

Did you bolt down your strut between the end pockets?
