They are still saying that I had to bring it in to the dealership so that their "electronics guy" could look at it...the latch releases from the inside and the key fob, but the button on the frunk no longer releases or returns the frunk.Any further details? I’m having this problem now and wonder if it can be a mobile service.

Update: Matt, the very friendly Ford mobile tech, blew away my sync system (bc I was bitching about CarPlay dropping multiple times per drive) and ran every diagnostic on my frunk. Said he *thinks* it is the left lift motor, so he ordered both lift motors and will attempt to replace in my parking lot when they come in…else might take “module replacement”?Mine wasn’t random. It’s a bigger gripe for me than the frunk! Bc I use sync every drive for maps, phone calls, CarPlay…every time. It’s got to work. Else I’m looking for a different solution.Hopefully just 1 of the lift motors. So Sync works now? I wish Sync was quicker.
It’s not funny, but lol definitely looks like the notes of a parts replacer on a Friday, end of the day, has all of next week off, wife is asking when he’ll be home, & has put in a 60 hour work weekMy Lightning went in for a HVB issue and I hoped they would fix my frunk opening issue and a parking sensor issue.
The notes from the tech are quite laughable. They “changed the height” of the frunk (as if I didn’t try that a dozen times) and then cleaned dirt of the parking sensor.
Safe to say, the parking sensor is still beeping incessantly, but the frunk is fixed for now. I was told it needed an update, but that tech note was just too funny.

I got that CSP for the front sensors but the back right has been acting up since we got the car.
