I installed something similar on my 2024 Flash last week. I used a plug in harness from Diode Dynamics that allows for both backlighting and reverse function. I made some stainless steel brackets to bolt the lights on, no holes drilled in the truck. There is a newer light option from them with an additional brighter red brake light, but this is an older set I had.

I have something very similar on my truck - the Diode Dynamics Hitchmount reverse light + strobe brake light. Easy plug & play wiring loom, a 10-minute job at most to wire it.

It inserts into the hitch receiver. It supplements the IMHO inadequate reverse / backup light on our trucks very well, with a white spot beam along the ground.

The really nice factor about this removable hitch receiver 3d brake light / running light / bright reverse light is that when I have the teardrop trailer hooked up, I just transfer the hitch receiver light module to the teardrop's 2-inch bicycle rack hitch receiver. Of course, I had to run the extension cord, available from Diode Dynamics, along the frame of the teardrop.

And add one of these wired to the lights. Only if you don't want to tap into the wires. Which I will do after winter. This and the other adapter are pretty bulky.

I do a decent amount of driving and backing up in the dark and I felt like the standard backup lights were a bit weak. I purchased these on Amazon for about 40 bucks, including tax. They took me about an hour to install. There is already one mounting hole in your trailer hitch if you have a trailer hitch so I need to drill one more hole. I wired it into my back up lights for the trailer. So whenever I put the car in reverse these lights come on. It has made an incredible change, backing up in the dark is no longer in the dark. These are gonna make me happy in the winter where I drive to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Enjoy.
