Has anyone dealt with Vehi-Ship LLC???

Has anyone dealt with Vehi-Ship LLC for convoy shipping? Just got shipped status and I was told it's not being shipped by rail only via convoy (truck) from Detroit to North Carolina? Any help or insight would be great ?

I'm thinking my Lightning was one of the vehicles that didn't get updated on the tracker from built to shipped till it got off the train to convoy IDK ?

Vehi-Ship is a contractor that takes the trucks from the assembly plant to any one of a half dozen rail yards in the area to be loaded onto a train. I'm not sure if they are set up anywhere else. I highly doubt your Lightning is being shipped that far solely by truck.

Yeah I'm not sure. I know my dealer isn't served by United Road like most I've seen on shipping updates. There's no way it's going from MI to NC solely by truck

Not familiar with the LLC, but my (somewhat clueless) Sales Rep also said my truck in western NC came by Convoy form Detroit, which I highly doubt. Maybe they're all hearing the same claptrap at their regional meets.

Mine went from MI to NY by truck - to everyone involved's surprise including my dealer, which is a couple of miles from the Selkirk railyard and seldom if ever gets truck shipments from Ford.

I am a dealer Tech. Here lately I have seen all kinds of different transport companies that I have never seen before. Ram 3500’s pulling 2 long bed super duties. F450 pulling 3 expeditions. I think Ford is using any company that says they can deliver right now. All the normal transport companies are under staffed right now.

I think the vehicle shipper Ford works with the most is Jack Cooper.

that’s what I was told at my dealer as well. They Are only 15 or so miles from the rail yard and they have seen cars come in pulled by tow trucks even . Supposedly Ford had a falling out with a transport company and decided to cut ties with them and have been finding any way necessary to deliver vehicles.He said they seemed to have found some new vendors for transport so maybe it will iron itself out.
