Yeah, I seem to be finding a handful of the Standard Range Lariats out there. Unfortunately, I am not finding any of the Extended Range, except as mannequins. I did just get in touch with a dealer who has their mannequin Lariat with ER battery coming up for sale in December. I am guessing that I would not be able to claim the Federal Tax Credit for that though, but if anyone knows the answer on that for sure, let me know.
Depends on what your local dealership requirements are and how they used their mannequin. If they were using it for test drives and it has a bunch of miles on it, then it's probably titled and registered. That would make it a used sale, so it would not qualify for the $7500 tax credit for 2022. At least not for you. If it can still be sold as new, as many mannequins can, then it will qualify.

Depending on the MSRP of the truck, it may or may not qualify for the tax credit in '23 if you take delivery after the first of the year. 2022 Lariat ER is right at the $80K limit, so it may just sneak under the limit depending on how they have it configured. 2023 also allows for a partial or reduced tax credit for the 2nd owner of a vehicle to help encourage pre-owned buyers to go electric. So it may qualify there if you buy it next year. However, the finalized tax code surrounding all this has not yet been released for '23, so we can't say for sure. 2023 also brings income caps and other terms to the EV tax credit requirements.
