Ford website shows this for a vehicle. When I ask the dealer about it, they are quoting me $1224 a month for the same term.

are these numbers on the website just clickbait BS?

Is the dealer using $6.900 as a down payment when they calculate your payment.
I would also assume that the Ford site does not include lease tax in their example, which is 9% in my state.

5 star ford in Carrollton Texas. They took 12k off the price which brought it down to 82k. Looks like with this new rebate of 7500 this is becoming more common.

What did you offer them for them to take 12k off? My dealer will only take the new $5000 ford incentive for leases off. The 7500 is only for purchases.

I don’t know honestly. I’ve been working with them for a couple of months. This one had been sitting on the lot because of the light bar recall for months.

It’s weird because the 3 ford dealers I’ve spoken with have said “prices are fixed by ford and we can’t offer anything below those prices” I wonder if it is a state law in Colorado…

well your mistake is believing anything a dealership says when it comes to the profit they can try and squeeze out of you.

Sure when it took months for them to get lightnings they could do that crap now they are sitting on the lots and they have to move cars to make money and not pay lot fees for them sitting there.

what i just got

$10,000 down
36 months $1202

$2,000 down
36 months - $1,466

unless you are buying it at the back end, I don't see any reason to put significant money down. The diference is $8,000 down and you save $1,504 dollars over the 36 months. 20% return over 26 months?

above is for custom lightning lariat en route to dealership.

rebate given for leases is $5k and $7,500 for purchases in CA.

Never put money down on a lease. If it gets totaled you might be out that money. Ford RCL comes with gap insurance. Let them take the hit.
