I drive FAST - how much faster will my battery wear out?

Giddy up. It'll handle it. Tires will take a beating, though :sunglasses: . If you are giving her around a corner, hang on - that much torque can get a little squirly.

Hey guys, I just like stomping on it! Or sometimes smooth super fast merging onto the freeway. Cruising normally around 70-75mph when traffic is light.

So, how is this affecting the life of my battery? For example, if I was to drive very lightly, 55mph freeway, gentle gentle everything, feathering braking, etc - - let’s say that would give me the max life - for purposes of discussion, let’s say that’s 8 years.

Using the same distance traveled as the light method, how long would the battery last using the crazy fast driving-accelerating approach? 7 years? 6 years? Less? Or does it matter? Maybe 8 years?
Battery electric motors are the most stable platform there is. There's no reason why these can't go 1,000,000 miles or more. Battery degradation is measured in recharge cycles (0-100% and any variations of that, 30-70% that total 100% charge, etc.) since these batteries can have a 30 50,000 cycle charge before you have any sort of meaningful degradation, you should drive your truck and enjoy it. I do!

No great shakes. You're not going to wear anything out doing this.
If you're going to make every traffic light a thing, you will go through tires quickly.
My truck has spent a lot of time cruising at 70MPH.

70, 75, 80 MPH posted speed limits are pretty common when you get away from the coasts and metro areas. With the flow of traffic, you'll find people going north of 100MPH in some states and still be below the reckless driving/excessive speed threshold. So, yeah, 70 is no big deal.

I read somewhere that the batteries in these trucks were designed to take 1000 charge cycles.
I understand that that means like TWO 1/2. charges equals one charge. Or four. 1/4 charges equal one charge.
The more efficiently you drive your truck, the less you will have to charge it. Hence the battery should last longer.

I read recently that it's actually beneficial on EVs to occasionally get on the power, similar to the old "Italian tune up". I say have fun with it and don't worry!

Calendar aging, storage SOC and temperature, etc are going to make way way way more difference to battery longevity than whether you drive another 5, 10, even 20mph faster....
