At your mileage, unless you charge to 100% often and then run it down near 0% often or let it sit at 100% in the heat a lot, 98% sound a bit low. The next time you charge it up to 100% let it sit on the a charger for a while, even if it is just a wall socket. It will take a bit of time, a couple of hours maybe, but it will start balancing the modules. I have just seen (this week) a full 1% improvement on the SOH by doing that. Could have been caused by something else but that would be quite a coincidence.
I have never hit 0% and only once went bellow 20%. I have never let it sit at 100% plugged in more than 15 minutes. And I have only gone to 100% may be 5 times at most in 2.5 years. I have seen 0.5% bump which I am not sure how much it really is since we see SOH in 0.5% increments. My truck spends most of its time between 40% to 60%. I see the drops usually in summer and once after a short supercharging session. My truck was built in December of 2022 and there has been some bad batteries in that batch so I have been babying mine hoping to delay the dreaded wrench of death.

I will give your advice a try next time I am taking a longer trip to see if I can get up to 1% back.

Certainly sounds like you are taking care of it.

Welp, ladies and gentlemen it has been awhile since I've last spoken to you. My baby's three year anniversary is coming up in a few days and she thought it might be nice to go ahead and update her many fans even though she hasn't reached the 150,000 mile mark.
A lot of words there. Lol

That’s a lot of miles in three years, I only have 9096 miles in 15 months. Not as impressed with mine.

5 yellow wrenches and two red.

Trucks been down almost total two months of those 15 as it was at dealership with techs scratching their heads.

White knuckling the steering wheel isn't any fun. You'll enjoy you truck way longer than I at that rate. (y)

 😲 $17,000 for such a fine piece of machinery . . .them there are fightin words 😤 . . well, there outta be a law against that . . .🚓
I don't think people realize how much this battery is worth, even just as a stationary home battery. I would be buying a $17k 130 kWh battery in a heartbeat.
If someone can figure out a way to get them out of the car and repackage them where at least they work with the upcoming vehicle to home systems, they will make a fortune.

Buyback - go for it! Ford bought my '23 Lariat ER a year ago - the new '23 Pro ER replacement - may be a buyback too w/5600 miles - 45 days in service.

Ford warranty issues/recalls are by far the highest - now Ford corporate tries to deny warranty service to save costs! 1.1 million recall the latest!

Ford recalls nearly 1.1 million vehicles over rearview camera software issue

I use my ford to charge house batteries off the 240 volt plug during periods of no sun for a week or more. added a plug to my inverter that fits my Honda 6000 watt generator and it is the same as Ford plug. I used a 50' extension cord to go from truck to inverter. works perfectly.

Before I had my present solar PV system installed w/BU batteries, I had a Main Panel w/a manual transfer switch and a Plug on the side of the house that powered up my panel with my 4k Honda GenSet. Now with this system, I have NO idea how I would be able to incorporate the GenSet in the event of my batteries failing & wintertime solar generation. As it is . . I have a SunPower system and . . they have declared bankruptcy. smh  🥺

Some automatic transfer switches have generator inputs now where you can easily add them in to charge your batteries. I believe SolArk, PointGuard, maybe EP Cube and others. It may be possible to add some components to your existing system to make it more robust and functional.

True, used to drive my Tesla like intended.

Scared I am going to break my Ford’s fragile electrons vs. mechanical eco system?!

Every time I attempt to enjoy it like a FAST…. 🦾 truck a wrench kicks up 🔧

Starting to assume the 2021-2022 were good and then they got cheap with the 2023s ?!

Ford F-150 Lightning I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later. 1748713141284-n6

I'll have to look into it. Unfortunately anyone that might have known @ SunPower is gone. I have no idea who to contact to get any service work for issues that will be coming up in the future.
