So West Virginia has a bill introduced to make Ford's OTA illegal.
And according to the article, it's the dealerships lobbying for its passage.
I try to defend the dealership model by emphasizing the benefits the consumer gets from it, but dang if the bad side of dealerships isn't just sticking their thumb in our eye.
They are literally trying to stop a manufacturer from bypassing their service department for any kind of enhancement or upgrade or bug fix.
And before you say it's just little Ole West Virginia...........you KNOW the dealership lobby is watching to see the outcome.
