Background: I hit a deer last week. I was able to drive 30 miles with no errors but the next day some errors appeared. I'm pretty sure the ML3Z-9E731-G module failed. Would this module generate both of these errors? Or is there more than one failed sensor/module?

1. Adaptive Cruise Control not available.
2. Pre-collision assist not available.

Is there a way to test this module? Or just replace it?

Module or wiring harness? I guess that's what Im wondering about, to concentrate the repair.

You could read the DTC codes with a scanner to see which modules are reporting errors. It would make sense that a damaged distance sensor would throw ACC and pre-collision errors.

Did the distance sensor take the deer hit?

I think so. I looked it up and search tells me:

"...is a genuine Ford distance sensor for the adaptive cruise control system on the F-150 and F-150 Lightning models from 2021-2023 This electrical component is responsible for maintaining a set distance from the vehicle in front and is a direct replacement for a previous part number, ML3Z-9E731-B.."

A post I saw on another web site had the same issue - the new module has to be calibrated, and the dealership had trouble with that and thought his needed a new bracket as well to level it, but then they figured it out without needing a new bracket.
