Update: dealer has had my truck for…a month. Won’t take a charge. They can’t figure out why.

How does that work exactly? Ford and I fight for months (prob) and if successful they give me back all my cash and reclaim the truck? At what price? What about money paid for taxes and registration? Seems like a hassle vs maybe they will eventually fix it? I’m in a brand new loaner (hybrid f150). They aren’t getting it back long as my truck isn’t 100% fixed.

Have you contacted Ford about lemon law or buyback? You can also reach out to a lemon law attorney in the area. Seems like you have a solid case.

And just like that, they call and tell me everything is ready to go except the replacement shifter (2nd one) which will be here Monday and I can pick it up the middle of the week.

They said three or four different modules were replaced and several others were reprogrammed. Whatever that means.
