I just watched a YouTube video from the Detroit Auto Show and I saw a couple things that surprised me. The video began at the Ram truck booth and had a 1500 electric pickup truck that also has a gas generator under the hood. It's called the Ram Rev (dumb) and claims a range of 690 miles and a "projected availability" in 2026. It's on the Ram website. Then they proceeded to the Ford booth and they mentioned that Ford was going to stop making the Lightning for some time and when it returned to market, it would also have a gas generator where the frunk in now located.
