Had a very minor accident but enough force that it dented my rear bumper. Just got estimate to fix - $2716 - the biggest parts are listed below. I have looked for non-OEM solutions but there is nothing I can find.

1 TE 639 Extn,RR Bumper Outer Partial Replace Price $874.67* SM
5 E 570 Reinf,Rear Bumper NL3Z17D826A $1,076.92 1.8 SM
6 E 613 Pad,Rear Bumper Step NL3Z17B807BA $217.67*
You can see the damage is minimal (appearance) but over $2170 in parts?

Any other options?

New OEM - $2710
New Aftermarket Non Stock type $1106 + couple hours drilling holes for sensors
Ballpeen hammer and torch - $50
Fk it, it's a truck - $0

For real though, I'd probably check if I could get a small jack or maybe a clamp and some steel square tube on the visible side and see if I could push it back out. But I'm the type that when someone crushed in my door to my old car at work, and they couldn't find the person that did it, I went and got my plunger and pulled it out first try, just had a tiny paint chip after. To each their own.

Looks like you'd need a vice grip on the bottom as well, just took a closer look at the pic.

I am in a similar situation, but with even less damage to my rear bumper. Been looking at aftermarket bumpers with better integrated side steps (like the GM products feature).

But, I bet you could plastic staple / weld your cracked plastic top piece and my less damaged main piece and have one that looks nearly new for very cheap. Let me know if you want to try to figure out the logistics on making that happen. DM me with your location if so ...

The wind blew a pallet into my front passenger door and put about a 4" dent in it. I chose option 4 for that one. :like:
