OTA's depend on the state of the LVB to install. The algorithm takes into account, SoC, capcaity, voltage, temperature, BMS data quality, estimated install time and if the calculation is below spec, the update will not attempt to install.It's been over a year, but...as I recall one of the SOCs that appeared on the Ford web site was not the LV battery soc but was the HV soc and there was some forum confusion about that and how to find the 12v battery soc or if it was even displayed.
The case below is from an ICE F150 who upgraded his 12v to an H8 to allow for a higher capacity. SoC and capacity are high, but the BMS data quality is questionable, so the OTA is failing.
