Phone not charging when plugged in

Hey peeps,
My iphone 14 is not charging when I plug it into the front USB C port. It says its a slow charger. I have tried a few cables and it seems to be an issue in general.
Any ideas on how to not have this as a problem?

I use Android, but when I have had similar problems it was an old or poor quality cord or cords.

With Android Auto, the power usage is about the same rate as the charge delivery. The charge is always slow when AA is connected either through the cable or wireless for me. I assume CarPlay would behave similarly. Try turning off CarPlay and see if the charge is a normal or fast rate with different high-quality cords.

I have had this issue since I got the truck. I need to unplug the cable from the outlet and then plug it back in with the phone end of the cable already connected. Probably fails 75% of the time if I don't follow this procedure. My phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max on an aftermarket cable that works fine on every other power supply I have. I have tried other cables and same results. It does seem to work about 25% of the time however.
