Power-Up 4.2.1.1 - Some Good Stuff Here

I'm only guessing, but I think all the latter half MY23 trucks have been held back in the bullpen while they tweaked out the most recent buggs and got the LVB/BMS solution rolling, now that it's out, they have opened the floodgates with a little staggering built in just in case something goes sideways again.

Wishing everyone continued luck catching up to the latest updates available.

I am not sure what Ford is doing - but I remain on the sidelines after a Ford failed update for my truck (4.2.1.1) which was correctly rejected by my Truck Ford told me this was my "final" attempt and are investigating. I love this truck but I need to get off the sidelines @Ford Motor Company lack of your excellent customer service team having any real information to provide customers over the phone is not endearing new Ford customers to be customers for life. Please be more transparent and provide real information.

Just saw Power-Up 4.2.1.1 pop up on my 23 Pro ER. Not sure if it successfully installed but it is under the Update Details section on my truck. First OTA I’ve received.

EDIT: Updated the FordPass app on my iPhone and immediately saw the notification saying the update was successful.

Hey!!!! My first OTA. Woke up to news of adapters and got in at order number 260, then when I got in the truck I had 4.2.1.1 installed!!! Banner day here for my May 2023 build!

Just got this update on my 23 PRO. This is my first update and came 2 weeks after the BCM CSP. It also came about 30 minutes after I ordered the Tesla adaptor. Maybe they are pushing updates to people who order the adaptor to ensure it works???!!!

The update stuck in state Ready to Download but at the same time Ford Pass says Update Successful

Today parked at garage where WIFI signal is better, maybe it will help.

My FordPass app says updated (to 4.2.1.1 if you look at the message alert):

But the truck says "Ready to download" v4.2.1.1. Truck is setup for auto-updates, it checks everyday and is connected to my wifi. Additionally, can I get rid of that vehicle alert nag message in FordPass about the update? I can't figure out how to dismiss it.

I find it annoying as well. They just seem to time out after a day or so; would be nice if they would clear once you've taken action on them.

Great news. I am still waiting for Ford to resend my update after the first attempt was rejected my truck

Question for you. Were you notified of the update being ready first in the Tuck display or the Ford Pass App?

Truck was silent about that. First time noticed when opened Ford Pass.

Mine first update completed after several days in state "Ready to Download" and immediately received another update 4.2.1.2.
Also now I see Tesla account for Plug & Charge.

I did nothing to force update, only moved truck to garage, where WiFi signal is strong, on my driveway it not so good.

Also added Ford SYNC and SYNC Update network devices to parent control in my router app and now I can see where and when Ford going and it doing something right now, maybe another update on the way

It finally happened - today when I returned from a brief trip without the Truck - It was downloading and the installed 4.2.1.1. I have joined the first update club.

Another member messaged me earlier and he got the same update sent and it was also his first OTA, but it failed for him. However, this is a good sign that VINs that have not gotten updates yet are being added to the OTA roll-out schedule.

Hey, I just received my first update too, 4.2.1.1. I figured I would have to wait until after the LVB battery module recall.

I got the 4.2.1.1 update the same day I got the truck and drove it home, about 80 miles. Since then nothing. Keeps telling me no updates are available.
As far as the modem goes, it's hit or miss. Since yesterday it's all miss.
Otherwise I love the truck.
