It's been a little over a year and I found my first mechanical issue. The motor for the powered tailgate seems to be off a bit. When I press the button to open it, either on the dash or the tailgate itself, it drops open, but stops just before hitting the bottom. Once it stops, I push it down completely flat and it goes down fine. Then when lifting it back up, I usually just give it a little lift and let the motor do the rest, but not it has a lot of resistance for that little lift, but it will finally pick up but the motor sounds like its working harder than normal. The same thing happens when I press the button on the tailgate to lift it. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer to have them check it out. Anybody else experience this?
