Rear motor rattling with red fluid leaking

Watching this thread.

At least from the several people in this thread that had this issue, it appears all were MY 2023. Can I hope that maybe this was fixed for MY 2024???

I originally posted this when it happened to me at 6700 miles. Ford replaced the rear motor. Now I'm at 20,000 miles, and haven't had any issues. I was hoping when I got the new motor, that maybe it was a newer version of it.

My truck is a 2023 XLT ER built in September of 2023.

About 18k miles on it. Was planning to take it on a 900 mile road trip next week. Disappointed that I will have to take a rental but better that this happened close to home.

Update from the shop - "hairline" crack in the motor casing. Not a result of "negligence or misuse" (duh) and this is the first they've seen this issue. They will replace the entire motor, should be ready 6/18 or 6/19. They received it on 6/12, so turnaround time not bad if they hit it. If I can get it on 6/17 then I'm taking it on my road trip with fingers crossed!
