At 64K miles, a cell leaked/failed in my 2023 Pro's battery pack. The dealership is replacing the module under the extended battery warranty. Cool.
However, it is likely to take a week to get the parts. The Lightning is my primary transportation, so I've rented a car.
Does anyone know what the Ford policy is on providing a loaner or other accommodation for a repair being done under warranty like this?
Side notes: The truck failed "gracefully" - while it threw out a lot of fault codes, and wouldn't let me charge it, it did let me drive it for a couple days under reduced power. That is a hard thing to engineer. Good on Ford.
