To anyone reading this and lvl 3 charging has been disabled; the manual release works to fixing this issue. The PDF link that Shmoe provided is what fixed this!

Now I wonder how many people have gotten the charging port replaced needlessly 😂😂
That’s what I was afraid what I was going to be told when I take my truck in tomorrow for the 25C69 update.

Also wonder what the cause is, improperly seated charging cable, improper disconnect sequence maybe? Would be great to know.

Me. Before this came to light. Also spent 6 hours at a level 2 needlessly.

Thank you for posting this solution! I spent the last two months in and out of the shop, replacing the charge port lock actuator, the wiring to the battery to no avail. Turns out the release tab in my truck had fallen off the clip and was stuck in an extended position below the coolant reservoir! I was able to fix the issue on my own after seeing this post.
