Vivid/3M we applied it. We have a shop hand cut.

It's not just California. In a number of other states as well, only law enforcement can have blue lights.

Nope. Almost any flashing light is illegal, but blue is restricted to law enforcement.

As I said originally, check the laws in your state. Hate to have someone put in a bunch of time and/or money only to find out they need to remove it and/or get fined.
