We usually charged our 2022 Lightning Lariat to 90% and only charged to 100% for longer trips but a couple months ago it wouldn’t let us set the charge level to less than 100%. I called support at that time and they told me it was a software glitch that they were aware of and working on a fix…but we still aren’t able to set a lower charge level. Does anyone else have this issue or any recent information pertaining to it?

Have you tried resetting your "Target charge Locations"?

List anything else that you have done other than calling Ford, you might get some useful suggestions.

I just checked and it’s set to 90% there but I did just reset it. I’ll have to wait until I drive the battery down a bit to see if that’s the fix. Thanks.

There was another recent post of someone having the exact same symptom. Somehow the location of the truck changed and thought it was somewhere else instead of home, and defaulted to 100% charge. Your symptom sounds like the same thing. The other person cleared his Target Charge Locations and re entered their home location which solved the problem.

There was an OTA that cleared locations and defaulted to 100% that caught me off guard as well. I used the PPOB and driving around to reduce it to 80% then do a new charge at home for a few percent so it would let me add home charging back into the system...keeps us on our toes.
