It comes with it integrated, just needs to be activated to an account.

Edit: Hmm, I stand corrected. That's what happens when I make an assumption.

The pro doesn't have SiriusXM according to the spec sheets.
Someone with access to the actual order system can confirm better than I can.

Nobody has a 2023 yet. But my guess is no. My ice XL does not have Sirius xm. You have to change the radio module

Download the app on your phone and you can just use the SiriusXM app as your audio source within Android Auto/CarPlay.

2001 FORD RANGER, 2023 F-150 LIGHTNING
I am planning on using my Sirius XM "Roady" receiver in my 2023 Lightning Pro when it is delivered.
I was wondering if the FM radio has an aux input for say an MP3 player, iPod, etc.?

I use my iPod with my Nissan Leaf by just plugging it into the USB port - it is detected by the audio system (which also has XM radio). But I don't imagine that will work in the Lightning Pro.

I have used my Sirius XM 'Roady' receiver with my old (2001) Ford Ranger by tuning the FM radio to a particular channel on which the 'Roady' transmits to the FM radio via an add-on transmitting device - lotsawires. Not as convenient as a built-in XM tuner, but did the job.

A few years ago I put into my 2001 Ranger a Sony AM/FM/CD player that has an aux input and a USB input, and so I can plug the iPod into the aux jack, or into a USB socket and the 'Roady' into into the aux jack. Even more wires to cope with tho...

Ford is notorious for making it difficult to add after-market audio equipment, but an experienced installer can do it for a price, or one could DIY it.

My old 'Roady' and the transmitting dongle were made de to plug into a cigarette lighter outlet for power, but since there is 120v power outlets on the Lightning, they can be powered with an appropriate 12vdc transformer.

Another option, to avoid all the power and satellite antenna wires, is to use a smart-phone and the Sirius streaming app then blue-tooth it to the Ford system as suggested above.

Somehow I am going to find a way to have my way with the audio!

EDIT/ADDITION: there is a newer version of the 'Roady' for under $90 at Amazon which uses blue tooth: https://www.amazon.com/SiriusXM-Roady-Vehicle-Satellite-Radio/dp/B09WKV7YT2

UPDATE: The Bluetooth worked but there were a lot of dropouts while driving, very annoying. I am now using an old Griffin iTrip FM transmitted between the XM Roady and the Lightning Radio, works perfectly with no dropouts or interference. The XM raido antenna sitting on the dashboard tray works just fine as well, no need to put it on the outside on the roof. Still it would be nicer to have XM intergrated into the main display.
I saw an upgrade for $350 from VAIS technology https://shopaudiodepot.com/collecti...m-add-on-for-2021-2023-ford-f-150-by-vaistech but haven't asked them if it would work with the Lightning Pro or what all is involved in the upgrade.

After looking around for a while I found this item on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/VAIS-Technlogy-GSR-FD04-Satellite-Compatible/dp/B0BTDY6MV3?th=1

It works with the 2023 F-150 using SYNC4. Plugs in to a USB data port.

I have sent a message to VAIS the maker asking if it is compatible/works with the 2023 F-150 Lightning Pro with SYNC 4, just to be sure. Closed on holidays, so have to wait for an answer.

They have a $40 discount for Memorial Day that as of now (5-17-2024) has 2 more days left if bought from their web site https://vaistech.com/product/gsr-fd04-w-tuner-kit/ rather than Amazon - not sure if they add a shipping charge however.

PS: includes a $60 SiriusXM mail-in rebate, even if you are already a subscriber.

Infotainment makes an oem kit. I purchased and installed it about a year ago. Integrates right into the 12” display. I looked at the VAIS but hated the interface.

Yes that would be an OEM swap for $500 plus programming fee or DIY with FORScan.

Step 39: Next step is programming. We have a
tablet rental service that must be ordered with
the ACM upgrade. Once install is done. We can
remote connect via the tablet to program the
vehicle. Please call our General Support team to
setup an appointment or follow this link.

That's another $330, so about $800.

The VAIS system is about $300 total with the Memorial Day sale of $40 off. They responded that it works fine with the Lightning, and any SYNC4 system. It does use one USB plug to operate, and the menu is a little different from the OEM.

I may check with local audio shops and see what they could do, and look on eBay for an OEM ACM with SiriusXM capabilites.

I would buy an acm with Sirius xm from eBay or do the bluetooth capable xm roadie. I have an older xm radio that uses fm modulation. It works fine. If you're having problems with the audio cutting out it is probably losing signal from mounting the antenna inside the truck.
