I've had both the roll up and retractable type covers on my other truck so I decided to give a fold back a try and am glad I did.

Took all of about 30 mins and one 0.0 Heineken to getterdun.

I like how they incorporated the seals in such a way it literally makes it waterproof except the tailgate cracks obviously, have a seal on the way for that.

I like how low profile it is as well as being able to use the full bed space with no can or roll in the way and the whole thing can be removed by taking off 2 fasteners.

On to the photos.....

good look, and very similar to my own tri-fold 'front foldable' hard top unit, which is also easily flipped in several ways, or removed and placed in the bed...

but, I think it's really difficult for any manufacturer to really provide a manufacturing process that will ultimately allow these to be 'water proof', or maybe better said, 'rain proof'... water just has a way to finding ANY intrusion point, even if it's not readily evident by 'looks', or even one you can try to 'find'... you know, water is the bane of our existence, at times, but it's also the magic of life, too... oh well.

What I've found on mine, is that it's not the rear tailgate lip, or any of the edges, it's the MIDDLE folding points. There is certainly a design that employs what 'seems' to be a waterproof-type manufacturing design, but, ultimately, water finds it's way thru, anyway... maybe not a lot, but enough to remind you not to leave anything uncovered in the bed, even when the 'cover' is closed!

Yes, I've tried all sorts of fillers, insulation, and specialized inserts to all points, but since you can't really do anything within the middle folding points, it's somewhat futile, for the most part...

I carry a tarp.

We'll find out soon enough if it lives up to their claims. I use auto washes, high pressure water will find any leak.
