2025 Ford Lightning Flash
Hello! Found out I qualify for x-plan pricing. I know Ford is running employee pricing right now..but I went into a dealer on Friday and they actually told me x-plan pricing was better than the employee at $7,700.00 off vs the $5k range. Didn’t work a deal due the trade in value dispute…but now talking to other dealers they are telling me there’s no way the x-plan was better than employee and either I’m imagining the offer or the dealer was doing something borderline shady. Anyone have any experience either way the x-plan? The truck I was going for was a 2025 Flash. Also, I saw on Reddit apparently not too long ago there were x-plan SPECIFIC rebates with some people posting deal sheets showing “7,500.00 XPLAN customer cash” & “$1,000.00 XPLAN bonus cash”. How are we suppose to be aware of the rebates available if they are x-plan specific and not advertised on the Ford website? Appreciate any direction/advice!!!

You need to go to www.fordpartner.com and enter your Partner Code (ask your employer). You can generate a PIN, read the rules, etc. You can also click Vehicles and Prices. That takes you to Ford's shopping site but with X-Plan prices and incentives shown for a specific vehicle.

Note when you go to buy, you will likely need to prove you are an employee (paycheck stub, etc.).

Finally if you scroll down on the the page you are reading right now, you will see a section called Similar Threads. Lots of similar posts to yours you should scan.

Thanks for the response! To clarify a bit further…I’m all set up with the xplan/pin etc. the clarity I’m looking for that wasn’t clear in the other threads(I did look around for an answer before I posted)was do they definitely show you the available incentives when you go to the Ford website via the Ford Partner site? As of today for the Flash at least there is absolutely nada rebates/incentives etc. so I’m trying to figure out if I’m late to the game(saw people getting almost $20k off last month)or the xplan rebates just aren’t reflected online? If they aren’t advertised that may explain how this recent dealer was quoting me $7,700.00 off via the Xplan which certainly isn’t what’s reflected on the Ford xplan site.

Looking at Ford Partner site site looks like certain 2024 Lightnings have better incentives with X-Plan then the current offer of employee pricing. Still not as good as the incentives were that ended 3/31/25.

Available Incentives
3-Yr. BlueCruise Bonus Customer Cash
Program #11316: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 12/31/2025. See dealer for complete details.
Amount: $615, Offer Valid: 10/01/2024-12/31/2025
AXZD-Plan Customer Cash
Program #90214: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 06/02/2025. Not all F-150 Super Crew Lightning Platinum 5P(710A) models may qualify. See dealer for residency restrictions and complete details.
Amount: $7,500, Offer Valid: 04/03/2025-06/02/2025

What trim level and model year (2024 or 2025) are you looking to buy? Incentives vary by trim level. and model year.

I February and March the incentives on certain 2024 trim models were insane. Then on April 2nd the incentives dropped significantly.

Thanks Flyct! Yeah I am NOT seeing anything like that when I log into the Ford Partner website! If anyone has the ability to do a search for me and let me know what comes up so not going into the dealer blind…looking at 2024 or 2025 Lightning Flash. Today in particular I’m going to check out a 2024 that’s been on the lot for a bit.

Jump on a 2024 unless you find a 2025 Flash with the full 131kWh battery at the same pricing. Not much has changed, just make sure you know all the features you want ahead of time (for example alot of them don't have 9.6kW Pro Power). The 2025 has some nice additions on the Flash trim, but they also took some standard features away.

If you want the dealer to show you what is the better deal, negotiate originally without telling them you have X-Plan. After you get the price you feel you'd agree to, ask them if it'd be a better deal with X-Plan and they should show you the comparison.

Update....called a few dealers today and all accused me of being crazy saying no one was stacking rebates and getting $20k off MSRP last month. All of them are insistent the x-plan has zero specific incentives and are telling me the "employee pricing for all" nets the most off right now. It's super frustrating as for example I have NOT been able to recreate this on my Ford partner website when I do the "build & price" for either a 2024 or 2025 Platinum:

Available Incentives
3-Yr. BlueCruise Bonus Customer Cash
Program #11316: Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 12/31/2025. See dealer for complete details.
Amount: $615, Offer Valid: 10/01/2024-12/31/2025

Only thing I can think of is maybe region specific? I am in southern CA...?

I have found that 99% of the time, Ford's system do not show all incentives.

YES, offers ARE region-specific. Absolutely. And, keep in mind, region-specific means where you are registering the truck. So, if you find a great deal in Florida, and you think you can go there and get the deal (or have it delivered), you cannot - because you live in southern California.

My son moved to CA from MI for his job, and hadn't yet gotten his car (we told him he was an idiot). Anyway, because his driver's license was still in Michigan (legally, not past the time he had to change it), he was able to buy a car in northern CA under the Michigan offers (with help from Ford Credit). The plates were mailed to MI, and we forwarded them on to him. The dealership in CA was clueless, it required hours of handholding by me and Ford Credit on a Saturday to get them paperwork right.

The Plan deals last month were unusual. That is why I jumped on a Lightning Platinum. They expired on 3/31/25 and they don't seem to carry over into April and beyond. Plus interest rates for purchase was ZERO Percent and for a Lease it was 0.04%, which is essentially Zero percent.

In addition to the $3,550 X-Plan discount off MSRP, here are the incentives that I received on a 3/31/25 Lease of a 2024 Lightning Platinum. Most of these Plan incentives expired on 3/31/25

At the bottom is the last sheet on the CUSTOMER CASH PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION FORM provided by the dealership at sale.

I was at my dealership today and spoke to my sales rep. He has a 2024 Flash and was looking to swap it out for a Platinum Lease. Last month he would have been able to swap it for $80 per month more. When he priced it out with his employee price today the lease payment would be $200 more than it would have been last month due to the plan incentives last month that are no longer available.

Thank you SO much everyone for the input/advice/info. As flyct confirms..at this point I missed the boat on the incentives that, to me anyways, were given to help move inventory in February/March. So with that said takeaway from this thread…if you can wait….and have access to x-plan…maybe think about those months when manufacturers are panicking about excess inventory. Otherwise…I am happy to report I am an official Lightning Flash trim owner. I was able to make myself feel better by leveraging my trade…and let me tell you…classic story holds true today..some dealers were $10k under Kelley Blue Book for my trade. Stick to your guns, leverage these bastards against each other…and don’t let them make you feel like they are doing you a favor with your trade $. Know your KBB and stick with it. Took me a good 5 dealers before I got one that was semi reasonable. Now that I’m an official owner…hoping once I learn the bells & whistles I can contribute to the forum!

Congrats. Did you get a 2024 or a 2025 Flash?

The only negotiation if you use X- Plan is for trade value as you found out. Dealers will try to steal your trade. Using multiple dealers to get trade offers can be tedious but in the end if you stand your ground you will come out less bruised.

Now, let the fun begin.
