From Reddit. CA reservation from NOVEMBER already placed their order. I get it from a business perspective but frustrating from all the day 1 people. This guy doesn’t even know if he wants to keep his res.

Dealers were allowed to prioritize a limited number of orders. Ford left it to them to determine how to pick. Some asked for additional cash. Some rewarded loyal customers. Looks like this dealer just had a lottery.

How would he be prioritized if he wasn’t even expecting his truck in 2024? Doesn’t make sense.

And why would they just tell him NOW that he was prioritized after that would have been locked in 1.5 months ago?

LOTS of non-ZEV dealers aren't getting 6 trucks for MY22, so it definitely isn't hurting that they're in a ZEV state even if there's more to it (which is seems there is since this all makes no sense).
