Sheet Molded Compound - how is it possible to mold that deep oddly shaped structure and not have some too thin areas? I guess it is no problem! Is it related to fiberglass? Pretty amazing that the thicker parts can be molded in at the same time as well. I wonder if carbon fiber could compete in making parts like that?
