This has to kill range. Why do this? I love leveled and lifted trucks. I currently drive a 2021 Ram with a 3.5 lift. But a lightning is about efficiency. It's more than just the unsprung added weight. You change the aero/drag with a lift. The knobbier tires are more drag. I'm going to bed 20% decrease in range.

I will caveat this and say it looks amazing!
You are almost exactly right about the reduction in range. Range dropped from 226 to 196 miles.
Some people's expectations for the truck are different and don't require the additional range. It's all about preference. Let's see if we recoup any range with the bedcover. I am expecting maybe 2-3 miles.

Dang, 10% hit for a 2 inch level? I would have expected less.

I'm very interested in this range test. My opinion is the extra weight will offset any benefit to aerodynamics and will not offer any improvement.

Keep us posted!

I’ll lose the range even on my SR to level it. The drag car look definitely isn’t for me.

How are you running that test, the usually 70mph from 100% until empty? Or are you just doing math off the miles per kWhr displayed? Did you readjust the computer for the larger tires?
