I was grateful for mine….range estimator was WAY off and got to use the free ford tow and the Tesla adapter last night.

no excessive heater used and cruising at 75 and 50 degrees and on full range showing 315 I got 210 then got to wait 4 hours for the tow truck…..

Just info: on my former Mach E and now on my Lightning, when on a long trip I have found that the blue map ring (on Ford NAV) is a far, far better predictor of remaining range, especially as the battery available power dwindles. The blue ring interactively predicts remaining range pretty accurately, especially as conditions (speed, outside temperature, headwinds, road steepness) change while I drive.

After trying the Typhoon Pro, Typhoon and Ford / Tesla OEM adapter. Here are my thoughts on them.

They all work great and beats having to use Electrify America. The most user friendly is the Typhoon pro due to the single switch to control the CCS side and NACS side. I also like how easy it is to hold the Typhoon pro securely. The lip on the NACS side is a nice touch to make sure the adapter doesn’t slip out of your hand.

The Ford / OEM Tesla dual latch is a little more user friendly compared to original Typhoon but a little harder to grip securely while toggling both the latches. I think grip tape might be nice to have as long as it doesn’t mess with thermals.

I ordered and have been using the A2Z adapter while waiting on my Ford adapter. The A2Z comes in a very nice storage case I would add. Unlike what Ford sends out in a brown box which I don't Plan on using for storage. I was concerned about things and bits finding their way into my adapter contact points.

So for so good they keep any little bits out of the charger, they lock into place. So far I am pleased. I figured I rather be safe then sorry. Last thing I want to is potentially damage my adapter I waited so long for.

Arrived today without advance notice. Immediately went to test it on our local Superchargers and it worked fine.

My wife complained that it's really big and heavy and said it's a good thing I have a truck to carry it. She prefers her Mach-E and its Tesla made adapter.

Ford sticking to it, getting through all the manufacturing troubles, and finally coming through for us speaks well of the company. Nobody's perfect, but I appreciate someone trying to be good.

I received mine a coupweels ago. Using it for the first time today and it’s working great.

I received a special delivery of another Ford Tesla/CCS adapter today, this is the Lectron version, pleasantly surprised to see this come as I already have the original Tesla version from last spring. I'll keep both as backups to each other.
