Hi all, Bumber to Bumper warranty is expiring in 500 miles so need to get a couple of items taken care of and have appointment at the dealership for next week. Only issue is they are so backed up that I have to leave it with them for a couple of days just for diagnostics:

1. The Frunk sometimes does not latch correctly. It pops back up after closing and I get the warning in the cluster. This happens infrequently but frequently enough for me to wonder if it will close when I hit the button. I do have a video of this happening but I'm guessing the dealership is not going to be able to reproduce this as I am sure they don't want to sit there for 30 mins opening and closing my frunk waiting for it to fail. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this issue myself?

2. The A/C fan inside the passenger seat it noisy and the seat is vibrating when its turned on. I'm guessing it has dislodged and is hitting part of the seat internals or maybe a part of the fan broke off. Again, is this something that can easily be fixed without having to go to a dealer? I also don't really want to have to dismantle the seat to get to the fan - if indeed it is something that can be replaces without having to replace the entire seat.

I do have the premium care extended warranty but looking over the details, I'm not sure these will would be covered so I really need to get them addressed before thanksgiving. Two further questions:

3. If they say something needs to be replaced but wont be able to replace until after 36,000 miles, would it still be covered by warranty?

4. Is there a full comprehensive published list of everything that is covered by the premium care warranty? I would expect this must exist otherwise how would the service center know what is covered and what is not.

I’d say most likely that both these items will be covered. It’s more like wear items such as seat material etc that are not covered.

Just get it in so they verify your under 3/36k , and they can go through it and order parts . they should cover everything except for tires and brakes so I would think you’d be fully covered unless it was neglecte or abuse that caused your problem.if you waited you d haves deductible at best and the latch may not be covered depending on what’s wrong

Yeah, this is my thought too... It's just a PITA having to leave it with them for a couple of days to get it diagnosed. Talking to them on the phone they said they were backed up 300 cars right now so there is either a quality issue or a staffing issue lol
