You just reminded me. I'm going to take my worx leaf blower out there and see if I can blow the dust back out of my battery compartment. Will let you know later if it works/worx.This already exists, ask whoever it was griping about dust in the battery compartment last week. The real problem would be cooling a generator that was in the frunk.
Not 100% sure but I don't think you can add ethanol to diesel, but considering you can add vegetable oils basically 1:1 I'm not sure why you'd want to.
Ethanol has a higher knock rating than gasoline (spontaneous ignition under compression) but a lower energy density per unit volume (KJ/L). I could google the actual numbers but I seem to remember it being 80-85% of its gasoline equivalent. I did the math a long time ago and iirc 10% ethanol worked out to something like 92-95% energy of no ethanol. Pretty much rounding errors. The only real issues are fuel system corrosion in incompatible cars, I think it was brass (or was that the fix?) and food prices due to feed and farmland.
