You said that the instrument cluster shows 100% until you start the truck, then goes to 83%. I would video that for your dealer appointment that you need to get scheduled.

So I didn’t go back to look at your previous post because it’s on the other page on my phone with the pics from the app so my numbers may be slightly off, but should be fairly close.
I would agree your 85% charge says 243 or whatever miles and you’re 100% says 248. I know the guess of meter is not accurate but if that is five or whatever minutes later the same night then that is obviously a problem.
Schedule an appointment!

I plug in my truck that’s at 60-70% and it charges to 85%. But the app shows me it’s at 100% when it concludes its charge. When I get in the truck, the display says 100% until I turn it on. Then it almost always shows me 84%.
I think you can find others in this forum that have reported needing a new HV battery module (or two?).

Found others reporting this as well on other forums not to be mentioned.

That would be great timing. I’m moving across the country in 3 weeks.

Mike G checked my vin. Said there were no DTC’s that would indicate a bad battery module but I have at least a dozen updates including power train, that need updated. Dealership appt confirmed for opening on Thursday. Hopefully just a bunch of updates will fix this before we have to drive 3-5,000 miles over the next month.

While I had the battery electric vehicle team on the phone, I asked about the HIS and if they had a fix yet. They have no idea what’s wrong with HIS.

There is a battery module failure that doesn't display any error messages on the IP. In my truck, everything looked normal if I only charged to 85%. If I tried charging more than 85% it would display 100% until the truck was started at which point it would immediately drop to about 87%.

My dealership had a very hard time diagnosing the bad module. Since their were no failure messages or DTCs they were reluctant to run a battery module health test, which is what ultimately is how they figured it out.

I don't know if this is your problem but thought it worth mentioning. I suggest attempting to charge to 100% and observing the SOV behavior after start. If you can't set 100% in the app you may have luck doing it in the truck.
I think he mentioned that he tried to raise it to 100% but it would not stay...

Correct. I changed the setting last night to charge to 100% and it thought it was at 100% within minutes. This morning it’s at 83% when driving out.

I woke up a couple of mornings ago with the App showing 77% charge 0 miles range. I closed the App and reopened it and it corrected the status. Just like PC's when something is not working right just reboot it works a high percentage every time.

Unfortunately, the truck is showing 81, then 82, 83, then 100%. then the app is correlating with the truck is saying.

Wow so I saw on another thread someone changed their setting to a timer charge (during a charging window) so I adjusted it to charge today during the set time.

And it reduced charge down to 3.4kw even though it usually charges at 11.x kw every other day.

Down to 2.2 now. This is the lowest it’s gone in the last 30 mins or so. Blue light is still blinking on charging port.

I'd recommend changing it to 100% for 2 reasons.
1) If it is a bad cell module, my intuition says that the charge speed will remain the same and drop to negligible at or near 87% which is over your current limit of 85%.
2) If it is potentially salvageable the rate should stabilize at roughly ~1 kw to balance the pack.
