Thank you for your input. yes I was thinking of getting a few more electronic traps . The truck is parked next to my house on a paver pad which probably has 45 feet empty pavered space to the side and about 10 feet to the rear all open space. I park about 6 feet from the house where the charger...
I have two dogs and cats dont survive where I am due to Coyotes ( dogs are in at night). I have two electronic traps that work great. in two locations outside my house and catch mice in both almost nightly... Its an acre and a half and the perfect environment for mice and rats... even with all...
Just had to pay to have wiring harness replaced due to "rodent damage" I have read the threads for dryer sheets, moth balls, peppermint oils. Question is the dealership didnt tell me where or what was chewed. I had a "powertrain malfunction/reduced power " error and my heater/defroster wouldnt...
wasnt there an Update that fixed this? I had same issue a few months ago and brought truck in for an update and it has pretty much disappeared. Bringing truck in tomorrow for the rear truck bed camera replacement.
No I just sanded it down wiped it with paint thinner to clean it off and taped off the edges. This was a year ago and I just took a picture and noticed a few spots I need to go over again. It was the lower valance and it blended perfectly ( I think)
I have an XLT that did just that. Sanded it down and used bedliner paint and you cant even tell. My dealer was going to paint it but I didnt want to lose the truck for a week......
I had same thing happen to my lower grill and I'm in Sunny no salt southern California... I just painted it with black bedliner paint and you cant even tell... but the grill is a different story I'd definitely have the dealer replace that.
Yep the wiring is 4 gauge. not a problem there. When I initially installed I was thinking of a 60 amp breaker but downgraded to 30 after. I may just go back and install a 60. Thanks
I have a 23 XLT and my rear camera for the truck bed is intermittent. Of course when I brought it to the dealer it was fine. Every time I have a Home depot load and try to use it , it doesnt work... I will try and call the dealer again and reference this recall.......
So If i change my breaker to a 60 amp (currently a 30amp) will that increase my charging ability with the supplied ford charger? would that be safe? its a 23 XLT
I had same thing and as above stated just sanded it down and painted the whole piece with Black bedliner spray paint. Blended right in. I also didnt want to be without the truck while the dealership touched it up... This was easily 6 months ago and is holding up strong.
