This is a problem created by your accountant. You only need documentation if you are audited. Make a copy of the web page showing the retail price of the charger, tell your accountant that’s the retail price you want to use for you tax credit. If he won’t use that, fire the accountant.
Check the rubber bumpers attached to the truck bed near the top where the tailgate latches. I had one turn about 90 degrees after hauling a load of junk to the dump. The tailgate would close but it was hard to latch. Make sure the rubber bumper on both sides look the same. Hope that helps.
Blue Cruise is just a semi smart cruise control on 2 lane highways. It does what it’s designed to do, but it requires driver attention, especially if there are speed restricted corners. Blue cruise is not smart enough to slow down for those speed restricted corners and will try to plow through...
I am having the same issue, every update fails numerous times. I got a letter from Ford yesterday saying they are replacing a Low voltage battery sensor because it is sending false LVB battery information and interfering with downloads.
No, the adapters available now are usually limited to 48 amps, way to low for a supercharger. You would need a more robust adapter rated at at least 150 amps. You would have to have a Tesla account with your specific vehicle ID number. The Tesla supercharger does not have a card reader or any...
Maybe Tesla can share software that makes Blue Cruise slow down for corners. My Tesla will slow down for speed reduced corners, my Lightning tries to plow through at full speed. Not good!
I regularly drive approx 80 miles each way from the Portland area to the north Oregon coast. This winter 30-40 degree days I was getting 1.8 mi/kWh. Now with warmer weather I am getting 2.4 mi/kWh for the same trip. Speed approx 63 mph with a couple of 1650 elevation changes.
I got a survey from Ford yesterday on the same subject. My answer is no payments for Blue Cruise unless it were to become substantially more functional. It currently is not smart enough to slow down for a speed restricted turn on the freeway. Give me something other hands free driving on a...
I have noticed this too. I thought software updates would fix this, but not yet. I drove two 80 mile segments this week, neither of those trips showed up, but 10-15 mile drives show up. Maybe Ford will figure this out soon and software update it?
Yes, the charge port door feels cheap, latches and unlatches on the first, second or third try and icing is an issue. One would think the engineers at Ford could have debugged this issue during product development. If I remember correctly it gets cold in Detroit, rain, snow, freezing rain etc...
