If a device is certified to a UL standard by UL, it will be assigned a UL certificate number. The manufacturer will provide the number which can be verified on the UL website.
The Amazon product data says it was tested by SGS labs, not UL. I don’t know if SGS has a similar way to verify, but I would ask for a certificate number and see what they say.

If it does not have UL Cert, I expect Amazon to refund the cost and alter the listing. If they want the item back fine, but I will challenge them to destroy it, especially if it has fraudulent UL2252 markings
