I would appreciate any leads on how to find the snap in cover (facia) for the charge port door for my 2022 Lariat.
This winter, a snow plow hit my 2022 Lightning Lariat’s charge door while I was charging on the street. The door is 100% ok. The problem is that the cover (maybe better called a facia) snapped off (and is long gone.)
The dealer wants nearly $700 to replace the entire door. Part lists at Ford for $440. But all I need is the facia, and I’ve heard from others that the facia is not sold as a separate part.
The part number for the entire door is NL3Z10370BP which lists for $440 but is available on MyFordPart.com for $295. If I wanted to buy the entire door and replace the entire door, looking at DIY videos, it appears to be a task well beyond my very limited DIY skills.
Thoughts?
Thank you.
