Went to Target about an hour ago to charge, and for some reason, for the first time ever, it would not work. It would remain paused every time we would hook up the charger. It would just immediately say pause. Went to another place, and it was a slow charger, so then we finally just went to the Ford dealership to fast charge.

I've been trying to figure out what was going on, why it wouldn't charge at Target, and figured out that Ford had deleted my credit card information for some reason. If you ever end up trying to charge somewhere and it immediately pauses, definitely make sure you go and check and make sure that Ford has not deleted your payment information. I wish somehow the system would just tell you that was the problem, but it is what it is!

Just for giggles, had something changed with the card on your end? For example, card renewed so new expiration date.
For what it's worth, I used P&C at a ChargePoint station a couple days ago.. IT worked.

No changes at all! Charged two weeks ago at same chargers with no problems!

It may not entirely be a Ford problem. I have attempted a charge at EA and it didn’t recognize my vehicle, but the next time I tried again it did. But 99 % of the time the system works great.

I have started defaulting to Tesla chargers due to availability, but unfortunately the Ford NAV doesn’t have Tesla chargers (yet). Come on Ford get it done.

I've had this happen a couple of times where Plug and Charge was turned off and wouldn't turn back on. CC information was there and accurate. It is really frustrating when the support team investigates an hour while you are at the charger and they still can't figure it out.
I cancelled Blue Oval Network after the second time. Now I simply use the charger app and it is more reliable (especially Tesla).

Hmm. Checked my account and all is as previously set but the plug-n-charge slider in the app is off and will not turn on. Last time I used a dcfc was a Tesla SC and I used their app instead but I had it set up right after I got the truck last year. More questions than answers it seems.
My setup is intact and working properly except for the Plug & Charge doen't work right with the Tesla SC. I have a paid Tesla account, but it doesn't recognize or make the match if i try to Plug & Charge. Is there a way to link the two accounts? if not, i need to use the Tesla app whenever i visit their SC.

also, is there a report i can get from the Ford app that will summarize all my charging by the month? showing total KWH used and KWH charged? My Grizzley home charger does, but that doesn't account for all my charge history. I'd like to be able to track mileage and cost per mile.

Plug and charge is easy but using the providers app is cheapest.

Ford gave me a Tesla adapter. Much appreciated. I use it on camping roads trips with a payed account. Plug share preferred app for locating Tesla chargers. Turned off plug and charge long ago. It works. It’s easy and cheap. As low as $0.30 per kWh. Vancouver island CA

I have a paid Tesla account,
In that case you absolutely do NOT want to use P&C. With P&C you pay the non-membership price (wasting your paid Tesla account).
BTW, if you want to see what the price difference is, check a station in the Tesla app and see the price and then check the same station in the Ford app. Note the difference. It can be substantial.
