Clicking noises when walking next to XLT

Not sure if this is the correct area to post. I dont have auto unlock lock ( I dont think) . When I walk next to my truck I hear a clicking noise as if the doors are unlocking but when I try the door it isnt unlocked. I can unlock with the key fob and with my phone app or the keypad on the door. Again I dont think I have the auto unlock feature.

You are hearing the solenoids in the HVB activating periodically, proximity of a FOB or PAAK for those who have it seems to trigger it, BTW this happens in all trims.

Yea, both my Lightning and my MME seem to come alive when I walk near them (if I have the keys in my pocket). They are like a puppy dog wanting to go for a walk or something.

Maybe only use your tap dance shoes inside ?

But yeah, as you approach your vehicle it will "get ready" and lights come on along with some solenoid firing (which is the clicking sound).
