@Mike G Do you have a part number available on that harness? Maybe even the replacement procedure? My Motorcraft subscription has expired at the moment.

I don't have a part number for the harness. It is possible to repair though.

I use this stuff once a year when I pull the frunk tubs out of the truck and the car to look things over. And believe me we do have mice and rats out here in the country, but so far they've left the wiring alone. Plus I think every EV should have a nice minty smell.

thanks ya'll, I will buy that today. Had surgery yesterday but out walking now. I had the truck towed to the dealer to look at, they want $1,600 to splice all the wires. They basically twisted them all together and were able to clear all the codes but did not drive it around, they have to do the full splice before doing that to see if there are any other problems. Good news is this is most likley covered by my insurance...... I have not told them anything about putting in the long range battery, I wonder what they will say when/if they figure that out.

I want to thank ya'll, especially @Ajzride For the loan of the mongoose cable, the knowledge and information. The first problem I had was a battery, but it was also hit a few days later with a rodent problem apparently. I don't have a lift or access to one so I had to take it to Ford to have them look at it. There was significant damage from chewing at the harness for the low voltage side. They were able to repair it for the cost of $1,600 (so about $400 an hour). I had already put the long range battery in I had bought from a recycler to replace my standard range one and had not told them about this. They never mentioned it and it fired right up without anything else needed. So she is back on the road, getting about 280 miles on a charge. I now need to upgrade my charger at home as I get 11mph of charge and I drive a lot. $0.43 at the super chargers and $0.07 at home is a big difference.

I must have missed some info. How did you accomplish the HV battery pack replacement (SR->ER) if you did not have a lift to drop the HV battery pack? The rodent damage was above the HV battery pack and the lift was needed to drop the pack to see the cable?

I had the guys at Big Brand Tire in Bastrop do the swap for me. We watched the video of a guy doing one and show them that it was actually easy so they agreed to do it for $750. I had asked to be there when they do it but nobody called me until they were done. If they had I would have had my head up under there to see the wires and would have had them splice them there. So unfortunately the battery is back up in and did not work then more investigation had to continue with the Ford shop.
