Honestly, that is going to depend on the driver. The functionality of comma compared to bluecruise is night and day, especially since you dont have to be on mapped roads for it to work. I still have have 2+ years on the BC trial that came with the truck and I never plan on using it again.

I ordered another LX6Z variant, it happened to be listed on ebay when I went looking. This one is brand new in Box: LX6Z-7P155-A. Hopefully it will confirm the LX6Z variants are actually motorized.

Interesting. So far the other 2 OEM models matching that part number are non motorized. Note that it will shift into park regardless if its motorized or not. The difference is that the outer ring will physically move. You also won't be able to rotate it passed "D".

What's the part number? Are you sure its OEM? As mentioned earlier, the non OEM seems to be motorized.

That is not the right menu for updates. That is a dev menu. The software tab should have the update status.

You can download it directly from Microsoft. Just grab media creation tool and select "ISO" when you are going through the program. I wouldnt worry about the truck too much. CAN is low voltage, so you likely just damaged the harness box sending too much power through it...

I would be cautious with that. If you can find a way to clear the errors, that would be the safest option. It may possibly reset the codes once it rechecks everything, but it could also cause the truck not to start again. You may be able to do a VM to run windows. I have been away from mac os...

Are you 100% sure the harness's are plugged in all the way? If they are and you are still getting errors, you can try removing the harness and reverting back to stock to see if the errors go away. If you are able to post the errors, that would be helpful as well.

Did you swap it while the truck was on? The comma harness should just act as a passthrough without open pilot booting. I don't see how swapping them would cause issues. But AJZ may be more familiar. You might see how quickly you can get one of these delivered https://a.co/d/ejjBWOB.
